Please congratulate Mr. Thomas Shipley of Baldwin, Florida
for being selected as National Truck Driver School
Graduate of the Month for April 2011.

Thomas graduated in January 2011.

Thomas is married to a wonderful lady named Missy. They have no children however plans are in the works and we wish them the best.

Thomas was a Project Manager for a commercial construction company in Jacksonville, Florida and he also worked for BP assisting in the Gulf oil spin cleanup. Thomas became interested in truck driving at a young age when his uncle would take him on runs with him. Having worked in construction and always having an interest in truck driving Thomas did what many people are starting to do and that’s sign up for both of National Training’s Professional Truck Driver and Professional Heavy Equipment Operator programs. Thomas realized having he skills in both industries would lead to endless possibilities for him.

Many truck and construction companies seek out individuals with these dual skills. It’s a fact… the more skills you bring to the table the more likely you are to be hired and the less likely you’ll be the one laid off in tough times. If you can do the work it normally takes two or more people you’ve made yourself very valuable to your employer.

We asked Thomas what his experience was like with National and he told us simply “The teachers and the training were great”. Well, that’s about as straight forward as you’re going to get about our school. Thank you Thomas, we’ll take that.

During Thomas’ time with us he has lined up and interview with a company and we’re certain he’ll do just fine. His plans right now are to get on the road and get all the experience he can and eventually land a job with the U.S. Forest Service.

Thomas if you show as much dedication to the Forest Service as you did with us you will have no problem. Keep up the good work and keep on truckin.

Thank you once again for choosing National Training, Inc. for your training and we certainly hope you stop by and see us from time to time.

Thank you,
