Meet Mr. Keith Graham and one very proud dad. Keith graduated from National Truck Drivers School back in September of 2001. Before becoming a world renowned truck driver, Keith tried to earn a living as a car mechanic. Auto mechanics can make good money, but it doesn’t compare to truckers’ salaries. Keith took a position with Stevens’ Transport right out of school.
He was offered driving positions with five other companies, but Stevens had the best package. Stevens offered Keith a new T2000 walk In Kenworth conventional tractor with air ride seats, cruise control, stereo cassette, double wide sleepers, QualComm Satellite communications, Jake brake, and aluminum wheels. Stevens also offered Keith an excellent un-matched pay package, making it a premier opportunity for him to excel. Now you know why dad has such a happy look on his face.
Keith recently relocated to Alabama while his dad is still here in Jacksonville Florida. Keith gets to visit his dad whenever a load brings him this way. We wonder how he feels about eighty feet of truck in his driveway.
Keith was impressed with our school and sailed through all of the training elements. The shifting, down shifting, backing, and logbooks gave him no troubles. Keith did however suffer from a bit of test anxiety on the final day of school. We employ third-party licensed examiners to evaluate each graduate. Keith was a little more nervous than most, but he did earn his Class A CDL.
Besides having his dad in Jacksonville, Keith also has Wendy, his wife, and two boys, Brian and Devyn in Alabama. He enjoys spending as much time with his kids as he can. When not in the truck, he takes pleasure in watching a NASCAR race now and then.
National truck Drivers School takes pride in all its graduates, especially when the whole family is happy too. We are glad we could be there to help Keith find a way to keep his fingernails clean and skin on his knuckles. We are excited for him as he travels down the road of life in his new Kenworth.
