Everett Roehl started a lot more than a trucking company when he began operations in 1962 with a single truck. He began building a team of dedicated professionals as he guided the team that built Roehl Transport into one of our nation’s 100 largest motor carriers. He insisted that the company be based on values and he modeled those values for every member of TeamRoehl to emulate.

National Truck Drivers School is pleased to introduce you a new addition to TeamRoehl. Meet Mr. Gerald Rael. Gerald is from Santa Fe New Mexico. He is now earning a good living in a new career. Gerald received three separate offers from trucking companies. He chose Roehl because “They have a good reputation and their training mirrors what I learned at National.”

Before Gerald was a truck driver, he put himself in harms way for our freedom. Gerald spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy. After his military career, Gerald was hired on by FedEx. FedEx is a quality company but advancement can be slow. So, Gerald decided to get a Class A CDL license. And see the country.

Gerald enrolled in the home study portion of the truck training back in February of 2004. He sailed through it with no problems. He reported for Resident Training and graduated in April of the same year. While at Resident Training, he did struggle some with backing the big rig into an alley dock. He was afforded ample practice and had no problems passing his road test. His backing continues to improve.

Gerald is now a very successful trucker that enjoys the freedom that comes from being your own boss. He gets a great deal of personal satisfaction doing what he does. Roehl transport is a great company and it great because of Gerald and people like Gerald.

Gerald is National truck Drivers School Graduate of the Month for July 2006.
