Congratulations to National Truck Drivers School Graduate of the Month for June 2009… Carl Tilden.

Carl joins us from Woodstock, Georgia where he lives with his wife Melissa, his 17 year old son Christopher, and his 15 year old son Dustin.

Prior to attending National Truck Drivers School Carl was a Navigation Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy.  In fact, Carl spent 22 years, 3 months and 28 days serving our country…but who’s counting.  Carl spent his career serving on submarines.  We know submariners are a special breed of people that have to deal with a hard life especially when you spend most of your time under the water.

We salute you Carl for your service and sacrifice.  We can’t forget your family in paying our respects.  Being at home without you without a doubt was just as big a sacrifice for them as well. Carl gained an interested in truck driving at a young age as his father was a trucker.

Carl chose to attend National Training because we are an accredited school and we are also approved by the military services for tuition assistance.  During Carl’s time with National Training he tells us he had a very good experience with us and his favorite part of the training was the Over-the-Road driving.  Carl also received pre-hires from Werner Enterprises and Federal Express.

We asked Carl what his future plans were and he tells us he plans to be a local driver with dedicated routes until his wife retires and then she is going to ride with him and go over-the-road. That doesn’t sound like too bad of a plan.  Well Carl, we wish you the best of luck and be safe. Once again thank you for the service and sacrifice you and your family made for our country.

Thank you,

National Training, Inc.
