Meet Michael Caplan from South Dartmouth, MA.

Michael left quite an impression on our instructors.  According to them, Michael came to our school fully determined and eager to learn.  His attitude and focus is what convinced our instructors and staff that Michael deserved special recognition.  Michaels overall GPA = 98.6 –  Impressive by anyone’s standards.

Michael didn’t arrive at National without any knowledge or experience of the construction industry.  In fact, Michael has been in the industry for several years.  Michael says, “I have worked in construction for 12 years and was interested in the equipment operating field for years.  I wanted to do more challenging things on the job site and reduce the wear & Tear on my body.  And driving the machines are work…and fun.

According to one of our instructors, Chris Doyle, Michael is the kind of student instructors look forward to teaching every chance we get.

We asked Michael what he felt his greatest accomplishment was with the training.

“My greatest accomplishment was developing a feel for the controls as opposed to watching my work.  I feel I’ve developed a sense of work ethic and a sense of respect for the power.  Biggest accomplishment was learning the machines the RIGHT WAY…THANKS TO ALL THE INSTRUCTORS.”What our instructors had to say about Mr. Combs.

“Mike has been an excellent student and has watched out for his fellow students as well.  Whenever something was needed Mike was always the first to volunteer no matter what the task.  Congratulations on a job well done.”

In closing…

Michael, having a student, such as you, attend our program makes it very easy to get out of bed to go to work.  Congratulations Michael.  We wish you all the success in the world.
