Star Transportation, Inc has been in business since 1980. We are a 53 ft dry van carrier. We operate primarily east of the Mississippi but do go into eastern TX.

One of our goals is to get each driver home every weekend that wants to be home. While home time cannot be guaranteed, over 95% of our drivers are home each weekend that desire to be home.

We have several driving opportunities, which include System OTR, Southeast Regional OTR and an Owner Operator program.

The most popular choice for drivers in the Southeast is our Southeast Regional Fleet. These drivers only run Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

We offer several benefits including full Medical and Dental plans, 401k, rider program, vacation and holiday pay, assigned truck and Fleet Manager, and as mentioned earlier, excellent home time.

Our training program is 4 weeks and 8,500 miles and upon completion of training the driver will be assigned his/her own truck.

Orientation is in Nashville TN and lasts 2 ½ days beginning on Monday and ending Wednesday. We pay for transportation to Nashville and give the driver choices of how they would like to get to Nashville. Additionally, we pay for the motel and meals.
