Military Transitioners

Military Spouse

This site was built for the unsung heroes of the U.S. Military… the Military Spouse.

Welcome to National Training’s Military Spouse Website.

Through a program called the Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts program (MyCAA) military spouses can now apply for up to $6,000 a year towards their education. That’s more that the military offers the active service member towards their education through the Tuition Assistance program which offers $4500 annually.

It has always been said “The Toughest Job in the Military is being a Military Spouse”. This statement has been proven true time and time again. The spouse has had to tirelessly and patiently hold down the home front handling the, literally, never ending list of responsibilities necessary to take care of house and family, including the responsibilities once handled by the husband or wife who is deployed for undetermined amounts of time and sometimes deployed on a moment’s notice.

Now your sacrifice is being recognized by our government and military commanders. It’s now recognized you are just as important to our military and our nation as the person who is actively serving.

Straight from the MyCAA website:

Program Description
The Department of Defense (DoD) Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program provides up to $6,000 of Financial Assistance for military spouses who are pursuing degree programs, licenses or credentials leading to employment in Portable Career Fields.
Who Is Eligible
Spouses of DoD Active Duty members and federally activated members of the National Guard and Reserve Components are eligible. The period of eligibility for spouses of Guard and Reserve members is from the date of the Alert or Warning Order for Military Recall or Mobilization, through activation and deployment until 180 days following De-Mobilization.

What we offer:

National Truck Driver School IS APPROVED and is listed on the MyCAA portal and provides training that is a fast track to a well paying job with benefits and IS HIGHLY PORTABLE. Our programs are designed in such a way that allows military spouses and spouses married to active DoD service members to enroll and train while still on active duty. In fact, we have many couples attend our training, both civilian and military, to become team drivers in the trucking industry.

In a matter of weeks you can be fully trained and have a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License in hand and ready to join the work force and earning a high paying living with great benefits.

You can start your training any where you have internet access.

What can a Class “A” CDL provide you?

A CDL can provide you with:

  • A secure job – no matter where you go there are trucks and truck drivers. Nothing gets from one place to another without a truck. If you bought it a trucker brought it. Drivers will always be in demand.
  • Benefits such as health and dental insurance for you and your family
  • Opportunity to see the country you served. You’ve seen the world now see your own country • Great pay – average drivers start out earning between $35,000 and $40,000 annually. Remember, that’s starting out. It’s even possible to earn $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
  • A back-up job plan – even if you move on to another career nothing guarantees that job will remain in need. Take a look at the economy today. Millions of people have lost their jobs and now must find other means in which to support themselves and their families. Those that have a CDL have an answer to this situation.

We call this the Power of the CDL!
