Another Great Winner...

“Because the others are loser schools. National is awesome!”, that quote was made by Jerry Fleck of Atlanta, Georgia. Jerry is National Truck Drivers' School most recent Graduate of the Month and he made that comment after we asked him why he chose National over the other schools. Now we know for a fact that Jerry knows how to pick a winning team, after all, he not only served his country in the United States Marines, but he also served in the United States Navy as well. During his military career, Jerry enjoyed traveling the world and exploring foreign lands and it was this type of lifestyle that probably set in motion the career changes that Jerry underwent.

After Jerry had seen enough of the world, he became a production worker at Atlantic Marble Co. in Jacksonville, Florida. After working there for sometime, Jerry began to miss traveling and meeting new people. After all, Jerry has already seen the world, now it was time for him to see his own country and earn some real money doing it. Jerry recalls the hardest part of his training with National was trying not to “jam” the gears, but after some guidance from National's patient instructors, Jerry soon mastered the skill. Also, during Jerry's time with us, he received 2 job offers with the help of National's job placement assistance program. Currently, Jerry drives for J.B. Hunt. Jerry chose J.B. Hunt because of their compensation package and job stability. When asked if he would recommend National Truck Driver School and the trucking industry to others, Jerry said, he most definitely would, but it is not for the weak. National would like to thank Jerry for his dedication and congratulate him on his success and we are glad that we could help Jerry continue on with his travels.
