Another Great Winner...
“Active military” was the common bond between Timmy Alston, age 22 and Dwayne Golden, age 33 when they attended the October 1998 class at National Truck Drivers School. Today, they are no longer military personnel but big time Tractor Trailer Drivers for Arrow Transportation. They were both assigned beautiful new Conventional Freightliners for their entry into the trucking industry. They did not know each other when they attended school but now they have become good friends and co–workers.
Both men benefited from the military tuition assistance program which paid for their training programs and in essence, their new careers. National Truck Drivers School is authorized to participate in the Dantes and Tuition Assistance programs offered by all military services. National Truck Driver School is nationally Accredited by the Distance Education & Training Council.
Dwayne received 5 job offers and Timmy received 3 offers from major trucking companies upon their graduation from the School back in October 1998. Both selected Arrow based on their new driver training program, benefits, pay and new equipment. They have both been enjoying driving all over the United States and seeing the good old USA. Both get back home often and enjoy their hobbies and getting together for a little fishing in the local lakes in Georgia and North Carolina.
While in training both had similar difficulties in backing procedures, but thanks to the expert instruction by National's trainers, they both learned how to back a tractor–trailer safely. Thanks guys for stopping by the School and sharing your road experiences with the Staff and Students.
