Timothy chose Swift over the other 5 job offers because "They have a great benefits package, bonus, out time and home time ratio, and the Rider Program. Swift's Rider Program allows the qualified solo drivers to bring their spouses, roommates, or children with them. Drivers are also allowed to bring a dog or cat with them as well.

Before becoming a trucker, Timothy served our nation for 22 years in the US military. While in the service of the nation, Timothy operated heavy equipment. Timothy now enjoys spending time with his wife Tanya and their kids Tom, Robin, and Heather. When not on the open road experiencing the independence it offers, he loves tinkering around the house. Tim fancies himself as a bit of a handyman. Tanya did not comment on his talents in that area. We do know that he excelled as a student. He sailed through Resident Training with no problems. After three weeks of top-notch instruction, Tim possessed the coveted Class A CDL license.

When Timothy was looking for a truck driving school to provide him with new career training, he chose National Truck Drivers School. He told us that a major factor in his decision was "the Military Funding." National is one of a small group of truck driving schools across the country that is accredited and approved by DANTES and the Veterans Administration for tuition assistance.

We are grateful he chose us and very thankful for his service to the country. We wish him and his family smooth roads and clear skies in 2003.
