Our Featured Graduate for July 2001

Busta Rhymes has the most idiosyncratic personality in rap and possessor of its most recognizable delivery, a halting, ragga-inspired style with incredible complexity, inventiveness and humor, Busta Rhymes broke out with a 1996 solo hit single, "Woo-Hah!! Got You All in Check." With all Busta's successes and accomplishments he has lost something. His loss is yours and ours gain.

We are proud to introduce our graduate of the month and the former limo driver for Busta Rhymes, Mr. Kurt Denny.

Kurt left the employ of Busta when he left New York and moved to Poinciana, Florida. He then enrolled with us at National Truck Drivers School. He told us that National was his choice for schools for a myriad of reasons. He liked the fact that our school is government approved and has a private track for practice and training. The single thing that impressed Kurt more than our reputation was his representative. "My recruiter explained everything in detail." Kurt told us. No hype here. You will get straight answers from the first call on.

Kurt already held a Class B Commercial driver's license when he came to National. Although, driving a limo for a rap star has its share of challenges, we're sure Busta's limo didn't weigh 75,000 pounds. During Kurt's training he struggled a bit with backing these behemoth rigs into loading docks. He did overcome this challenge and graduated with flying colors in July of 1999.

Since he graduated, Kurt has been driving for Lester Coggins Trucking (LCT). Before Kurt left training he received eight job offers. We pressed him to tell us why he chose to go with LCT. He said, " The pay is great, they are close to my home, and LCT gives me a great deal of respect because I am a National Training Graduate." Those are all true, but we think he may have left out one more reason. Considering Kurt's past, we think he went with Lester Coggins just so he can say, "I drive for Lesta!"

Please join us in congratulating Kurt for his love of the road, his commitment to trucking, and especially for being...
