Job Placement Assistance:

The primary goal of the Graduate Placement Service is to strive to place every graduate in an entry level truck driving job. Over the years National Truck Driver School has earned well deserved stature within the Trucking Industry. What this means to our graduates is assurance the training they received through National Truck Driver School will be well received by the Trucking Industry.

The graduate should remember the final decision as to who will be hired rests entirely with the employer. Employers are influenced by such factors as technical skills displayed, class attendance, character, personality traits, a favorable appearance, driving record, previous work history and the basic desire to work. This is neither a guarantee nor an offer of employment.

National Truck Driver School 's Job Placement assistance service is also available in future years should the graduate contemplate a change in jobs. However, priority is always given to the most recent graduates.

Inquiries received from potential employers concerning our graduates are reported to our Placement Director. It is not unusual for many graduates to be pre-hired before they complete school. This is possible by the many trucking companies who send their recruiters to the School. Students will be counseled on the proper methods of completing their employment and personnel file and interviewing techniques.

Our Placement Department stands ready to assist all graduates. The Placement Department has continual contact with companies and graduates and acts as a clearinghouse, matching up a company with a National Training graduate. We have the capability of electronically matching prospective employers to graduates with our regionally programmed computer data bank.

National Truck Driver School reserves the right to withhold job placement assistance to those who do not graduate, or those graduates who are terminated from a job secured through National Truck Driver School for misconduct and those graduates who are delinquent in their tuition payment obligations.
